Glenn Marshall used Processing to create this animation to the song Music Is Math by Boards of Canada. The Mandela Variation uses the number 46664, Nelson Mandela's prison number, for the random seed number. This number is the basis for all the random code generated in the animation. Marshall picked 1973, his birth year, for the seed number of his original version of Music Is Math.
