Sakurako Shimizu's Waveform Series laser-cuts the shapes of sound waveforms into jewelry.
The Japanese artist, curator and jewelry designer has used the sounds of yawns, sneezes, giggles, wows and church bells to create bracelets, necklaces, brooches and earrings.
Now she's using recordings of wedding ceremonies to make custom sound wave "I do" wedding bands.
Cool idea.

that first ring is sexy. i can imagine the imprint left on the flesh would be painful.possibly.
it is a cool idea, she could also do the couples' names ,special dates...and this doesn't have to be only for marriages.
i don't wear jewelry, not even a watch, but i am a fan of sound visualizations. if you find any cool links of people turning music or sound into visual art, please send them my way.
