Fast Times Mark Stoermer Killers @ Busby's

Saw Fast Times at Busby's on Wilshire in LA last night. Fast Times is an 80s cover band with members who dress up like 80s icons: the singer is Spicoli, Sean Penn's character from Fast Times at Ridgemont High, the guitar player wears a Slash top hat and wig, the bass player does a Devo thing and the drummer looks like Robert Smith from The Cure.

They played a bunch of 80s classics from Soft Cell, Depeche Mode, Journey, Joan Jett, Guns N' Roses and the Ramones. Drunk girls jumped onstage, sang and flashed their boobies.

Mark Stroermer, the bassist in the Killers, played bass and sang on a few songs, including Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer." They also played the Killers' "Mr. Brightside."
