Apple has posted a video of Trent Reznor, Alessandro Cortini and synth/sound tech Mat Mitchell talking about Nine Inch Nails' use of MainStage and Logic Studio in the studio and live onstage.
Cool shots of Trent's massive modular synth wall in the studio and Alessandro's Eurorack modular synth, French Connection controller and Monome in concert.
Trent's live MainStage system is running on 2 XServes. Alessandro’s rig is an Apogee Symphony Mobile + Rosetta 800 on a MacBook Pro. All the guitar amplification and effects are also done with plug-ins, including those from Native Instruments, SoundToys and Logic.
