the low-pitched sounds of the blows and the sounds of broken glass makes me think of you breaking one (or several) tv(s). and i think you might have used that sound in the past for a hypha track, right?
oops, i just realized i should formulate my guess a little better. so here's my guess : the sound of a (or several) tv('s) being smashed up.
sounds like a party, a new years eve party, and a lot of drunk people breaking things, like glass, i guess.
PS. sorry for my really bad english, jé.
I think Temo is right. New Years and breaking stuff.
Just to be different I am going to guess you are smashing a 1978 Datsun with an executioner's ax.
There's definitely a party going on, i just focused on the main sound when i first listened to it. I still think it's the sound of someone smashing up tv's (at a new year's party).
maybe a couple of drunk men are fighting, in the kitchen, and they're breaking the dishes and glasses, and stuff like that...
good guesses, guys. i'm going to keep this one open for a few more days. i'm also looking for more than just the sound's original source. the equipment and sound processing also count. any other guesses?
hmmm... from what i can hear, the sound's not really good, so i doubt you've been recording this with a brand new device. to me it sounds more like an old-school tape recording or something like that. so tv breaking at a new year's party with a portable tape recorder!
hehe just realized my last sentence sounds like a cluedo kind of thing... i meant : tv breaking at a new year's party recorded with a portable tape recorder! (and not breaking a tv with a tape recorder... :D)
