Throbbing Gristle played a special performance to the Derek Jarman film In the Shadow of the Sun on Tuesday night [4/21/09] at the Ricardo Montalbán Theater in Hollywood.
The concert was very different than TG's Coachella set two nights earlier. The original four members of Throbbing Gristle improvised an atmospheric mix of electronics and stringed instruments to complement the super-8 ambient film of abstract overlapping images fading in and out and into each other.
After the film, they came back out and played Persuasion. Great show.
