For Improv Everywhere's 6th annual mp3 experiment, over 2,000 people got together in NYC, played the same mp3 at the same time and went nuts.

I've always wanted to do this, but it's in NYC every year...
That does indeed look like fun. It is strange to think that ten years ago, such a thing would not have been possible.
Weird ideas are so much more accessible now. I suppose that has it's price though. There aren't any more local 'zines at the record store. Is culture flattening!?
i like the idea of taking a journey with music through headphones functioning as your guide. it's really cool that everybody got together to experience this together at the same time.
